Having used it on iPhone 5s running iOS 8 beta and now GM, my impression of Wi-Fi Calling isn't as enthusiastic. While Wi-Fi Calling can be a godsend in some situations (fringe/dead area, international), I find it to be rather flaky to be honest. If you get at least one bar of LTE or 4G signal, you are much better off turning the features off.
