I'm having real trouble understanding the backlash towards the Christmas special of BBC's hit show Sherlock for being too weird, especially when you consider what happens in the Victorian sections of the given when in context of the episode. You see, what is happening in the Victorian section of the show is all happening in Sherlock's mind, hence how weird it is.
