I believe it is a trade off and if I had to make the decision today I would go with IWC rather than Milgard. I am speaking of the double pane aluminum windows and not vinyl. What experience do you have with either IWC or Milgard aluminum windows?

Run from this company. Their windows are garbage. My new home was built with IWC windows with a worthless lifetime warranty. They filed for bankruptcy, reorganized and are operating with most of the same employees in the same location but will not honor the warranty! I've had dozens of thermopane seal failures that I've had to eat.
