Open the application that you want to setup the rules for, and set it up at the desired size and location. On the Settings > Functions tab, click "Add Custom Function." Give it a name and select Launch Application from "Function Action" dropdown list. Select the application that you want to launch when Windows/DisplayFusion starts.

Then start Windows Explorer and see if there is still a folder with the name of the software under C:\Program Files. Be sure to check the Registry as well for remnants of Windows Start-Up Application. To do this, start "Regedit", then look under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" > "Software" for Windows Start-Up Application or the name of the producer.
